Call Parking

Call Parking is a feature that allows a user to essentially place a call on hold using a temporary extension so that or another user can retrieve the call at a later time.


On Polycom phones:

On Yealink phones:

To park and retrieve a call:

  1. While on a call, perform an attended transfer to extension 70.
  2. The phone system will tell you the number of the temporary extension where the call will be parked.
  3. Press the Transfer key a second time to complete parking the call.
  4. You or another user may retrieve the call by dialing the temporary extension and pressing the Send key.
