Call Parking is a feature that allows a user to essentially place a call on hold using a temporary extension so that or another user can retrieve the call at a later time.
On Polycom phones:
On Yealink phones:
To park and retrieve a call:
- While on a call, perform an attended transfer to extension 70.
- The phone system will tell you the number of the temporary extension where the call will be parked.
- Press the Transfer key a second time to complete parking the call.
- You or another user may retrieve the call by dialing the temporary extension and pressing the Send key.
